If said guy didn't place a price on the table then they probably weren't interested for the same reason (Idk just how I see it) or he placed a bid but it was far too low. I mean if someone walks up to me or messages me and says "I want to buy your business" I either wont take them seriously because they didn't place a price on the table right away or I will say I'm not interested.
